Kanto is reporting live from the canal city of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, as we follow six Filipino studios hoping to bring home the bacon at the world’s largest live-judged architecture awards. Toronto-based writer and researcher Bianca Weeko Martin will be our eyes and ears at the festival from November 18 to 20, tallying the performances of MLA at Home, Add Architecture, WTA Architecture and Design Studio, GROHE Young Visionary Winner Sangay Architects, Dominic Galicia Architects, and EUDO as they vie for World Building, Future Project, Interior, Landscape, and Small Project of the Year honors.
