A night to remember

LIXIL’s power brands, GROHE, and American Standard, joined forces to honor remarkable achievements in the architecture, interior design, real estate, and property development sectors at the Asia Pacific Property Awards 2023-24. This prestigious event, held last June 7, 2023, in Bangkok, Thailand, showcased outstanding projects and recognized industry excellence throughout the region. Recognizing 362 winning companies, the gala event culminated in the announcement and presentation of the highly esteemed GROHE Award for Sustainability and the American Standard Award for Innovation.

The International Property Awards are globally renowned as one of the most significant and prestigious accolades in the property industry. The Asia Pacific Property Awards, a branch of the International Property Awards (IPA), attracted over 850 registrations from companies across the region. Each entry was meticulously evaluated by a panel of more than 100 industry experts and peers, focusing on design, quality, service, innovation, originality, and commitment to sustainability.

Winning an IPA award not only elevates the reputation and branding of the participating companies but also enhances public visibility of their award-winning projects and provides valuable networking opportunities. This year’s event celebrated the achievements of 362 winning companies from across the Asia Pacific in various categories, including Architecture, Interior Design, Real Estate, and Property Development. Notable countries such as China (the winningest nation of the night with 113 awards), Thailand, India, Australia, Singapore, Indonesia, and the Philippines (with 22 nods) demonstrated significant strides in the awards.

GROHE Sustainability Award

Sustainability has been at the core of the GROHE brand for over 20 years, with initiatives focusing on circular products, reduced plastic packaging, and the utilization of renewable solar energy for manufacturing. GROHE introduced the GROHE Award for Sustainability to recognize projects that exemplify the highest levels of sustainability and contribute to the well-being of both the planet and society.

LIXIL proudly announces the Six Senses Residences The Forestias project as the inaugural winner of the GROHE Sustainability Award. This project is a pioneer of sustainable practices, demonstrating how an exquisitely beautiful retreat can harmoniously coexist with local communities and ecosystems. By implementing the Miyawaki Method of reforestation, the project successfully reintroduces native trees and animals to their natural habitats, creating a self-sustaining ecosystem. The development also incorporates a central utility plant, efficient water management, innovative light management systems, and sustainable transportation, ensuring a safe and reliable environment for residents.

American Standard Innovation Award

With a legacy of nearly 150 years of pioneering design, American Standard continues to be recognized for its purposeful and innovative bathroom and kitchen solutions, enhancing the everyday lives of consumers.

LIXIL proudly announces the Nantong Golden Eagle World project in Nantong, China, as the inaugural winner of the American Standard Innovation Award. This mixed-use development brings the ‘outdoors’ inside, establishing a green and active realm for the community.
