“I am overjoyed that the Wilcon Cup is back! This return and the forthcoming 100th Wilcon store celebrate the relationship we’ve created with our partners and clients. We’re also proud to keep our tradition of giving back to the community,” opens Wilcon Depot SVEP and COO Rosemarie Bosch Ong on the 7th Wilcon Cup. This edition was held at the Wack Wack Golf and Country Club in Mandaluyong City last May 7, 2024 (Tuesday). “The excitement for this year is higher, as we had to take a three-year pause due to the pandemic,” Ong added. “We are also glad to celebrate the achievement of Wilcon’s #FlyingHighto100 campaign with our partners, stakeholders, and clients through this event.”
121 players from the brand’s ABCDE (Architects, Builders, Contractors, Designers, and Engineers) clientele participated in the event. The ceremonial tee was led by Wilcon President and CEO Lorraine Belo, Rosemarie Bosch Ong, and Boysen Philippines Ambassador Derek Ramsay. The cup proceeded right after, with participants completing the tournament in nearly four hours.
A program proceeded, including the recognition of Wilcon’s beneficiaries and sponsors, major and minor raffle prizes for all players, and the awarding of 10 outstanding golfers. This year’s chosen charities are ABS-CBN Foundation, Crocodylus Porosus Philippines, and Wilcon Foundation, receiving Php 500,000 each. Wilcon shares that it is not the brand’s first time to extend help to all these foundations, supporting their programs for health, education, environmental justice, and sustainability.
Major raffle prizes were provided by major sponsors GROHE and Delta Airlines, who were physically present during the ceremony. Most participants took home minor prizes in the form of home improvement products and cash. Towards the end of the program, 10 outstanding players were recognized and presented with trophies and certificates.

Let’s keep building dreams together!” •
